Tava Pulav Recipe

Tava Pulav (Serves – 4/5)

Ingredients: Basmati rice 1 bowl, 2 onions, 2 tomatoes, 1/2 cup finely chopped capsicum (Simla Mirch), 1/2 bowl green peas, 1/2 cup chopped carrot, 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste, 1/4 tsp turmeric, 1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera), 2 tbsp oil, 1 tbsp Pallavi’s Spices Pavbhaji Masala, butter & salt to taste.

Procedure: Boil rice in following proportion – 1 bowl rice in 2 bowls of water adding 4/5 drops of pure ghee in it. In a frying pan heat oil. Add cumin seeds and finely chopped onions, tomatoes. Saute it. Later add ginger garlic paste, turmeric, and half tbsp of pavbhaji masala. Then add pieces of carrot, Simla mirch, green peas. Also add remaining half tbsp Pavbhaji Masala. cook these in 1/4 bowl of water and later add butter to it. Then add rice to this and mix well. Cook for 2-3 minutes  with lid and then garnish it with coriander.
