Using Goda Masala
Mutter (Green Peas) Usal
Serves: 4
Ingredients: 500g Mutter (Green Peas), Half bowl grated coconut, 1-2 green chillies,1/2 inch ginger, 1 tbsp Pallavi’s Spices Goda Masala, half bowl chopped coriander, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, turmeric, curry leaves and 1 tomato, salt to taste
Grounded Masala (Wet): Grated coconut, Chilly, ginger and coriander
Procedure: Heat mustard seeds, cumin seeds, compounded asafoetida, turmeric, curry leaves, tomato in oil. Add wet grounded masala, Pallavi’s Spices Goda Masala, salt & continue frying. Later add Mutter (Green Peas), water & boil for few minutes. If needed you can add sugar. Serve hot with lime, onion slices & bread / pav.
Mugachi Khichadi (Rice) (Serves: 4)
Ingredients: Rice 1 bowl, 1/4 bowl Moong Dal, 1/2 green chilly, 4/5 curry leaves, 1 tbsp Pallavi’s Spices Goda masala, salt, 3 tsp oil, 3/4 bowls water
Procedure: Clean Moong dal and rice thoroughly and keep in a sieve for a while. In little extra oil prepare tadka of mustard seeds, asafoetida, turmeric and curry leaves. Add rice and moong dal to this fried mixture and fry more. Add pieces of green chilly, carrot, goda masala and salt. Boil it on a low flame after adding some luke warm water. Add 2 spoons pure ghee at the last.
