Masale Bhat (Rice)
Serves: 4
Ingredients: Rice 1 bowl, 1 finely sliced onion, 4/5 curry leaves,1 tbsp ginger-garlic- green chilly paste, 1 tbsp Pallavi’s Spices Masalebhat Masala, salt to taste, cashewnut and oil
Procedure: Clean and pre soak the rice 30 mins before. In little extra oil prepare tadka of mustard seeds, cumin seeds, compounded asafoetida, turmeric, curry leaves. Then fry onion and 1 tbsp of ginger-garlic-green chilly paste. Saute the rice with some cashewnuts in it along with 1 tbsp of Masalebhat Masala. Cook it by adding little luke warm water, salt on a low flame. Add ghee at the end. Garnish it with chopped coriander and minced coconut. Serve hot.
